This Burr Walnut quarter striking Lenzkirch table clock. Being the top of the range “four” canted corner model, this clock is designed to be seen at all angles! This clock is in a most beautiful condition with fine ormolu gilt mounts and stunning Figured walnut veneer. This particular model came in two case styles. The first only had the ornate canted corners on the front whilst the second and most expensive model had them on all four sides. This clock is the second style and therefore is the rarer. The original silk has been colour matched to retain its original look.
The dial has intricate gilt spandrels and subsidiary dial for regulating any deviations in timekeeping. This Clock has been fully restored to a very high standard and the quality spring driven eight day movement is as new.
