New Team Member Starts!

What a busy week it’s been! We have a potential new member of the team…Apprentice Jess! She has done a splendid job on this HAC wall clock.. We have also been busy restoring some really nice timepieces including an ATMOS Clock, Verge Escapement triple fusee bracket clock and a Frodsham library clock. There is also a really early 18th century longcase clock with practice letters engraved onto the plates! Was this done by an early apprentice? We want to wish Jess all the best in her trial!!

New Clock Maker Starting!

We now have a new clock maker starting at Overton Clocks! Before coming to us Colin worked in the jewellery industry. As a result, he has a lot of skills that are transferable to Clock work. We wish him well in his new career.

Here’s a bit about Colin:

Colin Working hard

After studying jewellery design at the University of Derby, Colin worked as a commissioned jeweller. As a result Colin is a skilled craftsman working within the specialised business of Horology, a wonderful opportunity. Especially under the guidance of our master clock maker. Colin is looking forward to his future within Overton clocks!
